Abstract

It is highly essential to choose the best leadership style and organizational cultures to get unique outlook in this competitive business world. Having a favourable work culture and behaviour of leaders enhances the employees to get in tune towards achieving success of the organization. This paper sheds light on how the leadership behaviour and organizational culture affect the employee's job performance. It is a conceptual paper and necessary theoretical evidence is covered in favour of the idea. The motive of this study is to give insight on the critical review of the concept. The paper briefs on concepts like organizational culture, leadership behaviour and employee job performance. The paper concludes noting that employee job performance is mediated through the organizational culture and leadership behaviour. The change in leadership behaviour and the culture will affect the performance level of the employee, which impacts the increase in the level of commitment, contributing towards retention of the employees. The scope for further studies can be established by introducing or replacing different variables.
